Michael grew up on Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village and was inspired by the arts and artists that were so influential during that period in New York City. He attended NYU and received a BFA in Film from The Tisch School of the Arts. With his love of photography, he became both a Director and Cinematographer. As an aspiring foodie and cook, his interests have been galvanized by the Hudson Valley food scene. He loves cooking and partnering with local restaurant talent. On any given night, you can find local area chefs gathering in his professionally outfitted “Cookbarn”, to prepare an incredible meal. If you’ve got wood, iron and fire, he’s in.
Known for infusing dimension and rich texture to most any shape or element, Schrom’s esteemed career has led to successful commercial projects for multiple global brands and accounts. He has won numerous awards for his work including a project that is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. He has created more than 1800 broadcast spots. Michael embraces emerging technologies and seamlessly integrates film techniques and visual effects to create effective and memorable campaigns. He loves bringing concepts to life using visual problem solving skills and his signature process translates into stunning product images, exquisitely poured fluids, scrumptious vittles, gooey goodness, glistening sauces and dripping flavors that ooze with Crave ArtistryTM.
